The largest portion of our business continues to be from return customers – and we intend to keep it that way because our last job really does sell our next one!

No two projects are the same and we rely on our collective knowledge, experience and creativity to deliver solutions that are right for each project. Clients can come to us with a fully developed plan from a design professional of their choosing, or we can provide a complete Design & Construction package, utilizing our team of design professionals.
Call us or visit our showroom. We will do a preliminary review of your needs, explain how we work, answer any questions you have and together, determine if we are a good fit for your project. At that point, we will schedule a meeting with you and one of our experienced remodeling consultants for an in-depth review of your project.
Listen: The Initial Meeting
The initial meeting takes place at your home and is our first opportunity to really “hear” what you and your family need. We ask you to bring any plans or inspiration photos that you have gathered so we can get to know more about your “vision” for the project. We take the time to understand your tastes, project priorities, how you live, who’s in the family, their special needs, and whether there is a single feature you want to showcase? We’ll then work together to determine a plan that fits within your budget. Properly identifying and prioritizing your needs is the foundation of a successful project.
If, during the initial meeting, you determine that you want to move forward, the next step is to have us prepare a fully-detailed cost estimate for your project. To do that, we will need you to sign a Project Development Agreement (PDA) with a non-refundable deposit to cover our costs for design development, a detailed cost estimate and any necessary design drawings. The PDA does not commit you to doing the project with us but when you do, 100% is applied toward the price of your project.
Plan: Design & Material Selections
Thoughtful and comprehensive interpretation of the information we collect from our clients, combined with a thorough assessment of the project site is the basis for developing an accurate project design and construction plan.
The design and drawing process usually takes one to two weeks depending on the size of the job and the amount of work already in-house. We are confident that our design software will transform your concept into a 3-D visual reality. These drawings will enable you to preview the proposed end result, allowing you to make critical adjustments before work begins.
Once the final design is approved, finishes and materials selected, and the contract price agreed upon, the final contract is signed and a job deposit delivered. At this point your project is under contract and put into “production.” The production department will begin the process of applying for permits, ordering materials and developing the project schedule.
Work: Construction Management
A successful project is well researched, well planned and properly executed. It is our job to identify and solve the many complex structural and logistical issues that occur on every project through good construction management. This is done through the efforts of our in-house production specialists and on-site construction Foremen. Within approximately one week of contract signing, the Foreman assigned to the project visits the job site for a “walk-through” to meet the client, familiarize himself with the scope of the project and to identify any issues not already addressed.
When the approvals and materials are on hand, then construction can begin. Everyone at Crown Construction Inc. works hard each day in a common direction, with their eye on the details as well as the final product. Our dedicated team of field and production staff supports each other with a constant flow of information so unanticipated issues are communicated in real time and solutions are developed rapidly.
