A Stunning Kitchen Remodel and a New Front Porch
Bob and Joyce of Ithaca are a wonderfully caring couple that Crown Construction has had the pleasure of working with on several occasions. The most recently being a stunning kitchen remodel and new front porch. Bob and Joyce’s new kitchen was updated with flat panel maple cabinetry with several eye-catching mullion doors, accented with birch knobs. The striking Victorian bronze colored faucet accents the beveled-edged countertop and contrasting under-mount sink. The backsplash is a decorative ceramic tile specially chosen by the homeowners. An energy efficient window with colonial grids and new oak flooring completes the striking transformation. Master craftsmen, Rob Luce and Vladimir Leshkiv, did an outstanding job.
"We have certainly enjoyed the aesthetics and functionality of this new kitchen. This might sound canned but we thoroughly enjoyed the work crews just like last time. They were very clean, not tracking anything in. Exceptional people. We couldn’t be more pleased."
Also included in Bob and Joyce’s project list was the addition of a beautiful front porch. Composite decking was used in combination with pressure treated spindles for a distinct custom look. A gable roof was added over the entire structure being sure to match the existing house. Brian Short, lead foreman, along with his crew, worked diligently in the cold winter months to create a beautiful new entry.
"Our daughter visited us not too long ago and was totally pleasantly shocked at the change. It was fun watching her reaction."
