Teeny Bathroom Becomes Soothing and Luxurious

Just imagine combining a teeny, tiny bathroom and a closet to create a space that says, “soothing, luxurious, warm, peaceful, relaxing.” That’s just what Kristin and Rick of Ithaca, NY, did. They worked together with John Lafian, co-owner of Crown Construction, and made that dream a reality.

After totally gutting the existing bathroom and removing several walls, the space was redesigned to accommodate Kristin and Rick’s enchanting bathroom and a walk-in closet. Radiant floor heating was installed under the ceramic tiles, welcoming that first step out of the luxurious fiberglass whirlpool tub. Also included in the redesign was a separate shower as well as a private water closet. Beautiful maple designer vanities topped with custom-made quartz countertops were included.

Rob Luce and Valdimir Leshkiv were the masterful craftsmen on this job. They enjoyed the different aspects of the new design.

“The workers were unobtrusive. They were very respectful. We especially liked the fact that Crown Construction stands by their work. We love our bathroom. The pictures tell it all”, said Kristin.

The complexity of the project adds to the intrinsic beauty and overall character of the stately bathroom and home. Kristin and Rick were a joy to work with from start to finish.
