Turning Dreams on Paper into Reality
"We love living where we are and don't want to move. But we need more space," said Michelle Tucker when she originally called Crown for their home renovation.
Michelle and Shawn Tucker of Cortland contacted Crown Construction with their wish list. And, as they say, the rest is history. The Tuckers and Jeff (Fredrickson) put their heads together along with Nate Tarter, designer/estimator, and came up with a delightful design for the new addition. "Nate and Jeff did a great job working with us, explaining and answering questions. They spent a great deal of time making sure we got what we wanted out of the design," said Michelle.
Accenting the family room addition is a beautiful sliding glass door and transom window both with insulated glass, eye-catching grids and striking corner-block rosettes on the inside. The sage colored Board and Batten siding adds personality and the pressure-treated deck allows for easy access to the backyard. The front entry of the house was updated with a maintenance-free composite decking, which leads up to a distinctive fiberglass entry door and sidelight with leaded glass panes. Master craftsmen, Brian Short and Pete Chapman, along with their crews expertly headed up these projects.
"Brian listened and answered my questions he never complained about being out in the bitter cold. And Wayne was great. He explained and answered questions and has excellent craftsmanship! Everyone was terrific, very professional and courteous."
Our heartfelt thanks to you, Michelle and Shawn, for including Crown Construction in the rejuvenation of your home. It was a pleasure working with you.
